• As you may or should know, your credit repayment history is critical when it comes to getting the best rates and terms for your loan.
• Lenders will scrutinize your credit report in depth to determine what level of credit risk you represent, and credit reports can contain errors.
• As credit takes time to fix if there are errors or to improve if there are issues, it makes sense to get a credit report check-up and a clean bill of health as an important first step in your mortgage quest.

Upon your Request for Review, you will be asked to email us your own credit report(s). If you haven't done so already, you can obtain a copy of your report at www.Equifax.ca and www.TransUnion.ca (or Credit Karma), which you can order online as a stand-alone request or a subscription, or look for the 'free by mail' option. When you order or access your own report, it is considered a "soft pull" with no impact on your score.
